According to the press service of the Tashkent region Department of Internal Affairs Traffic Safety Management, a person wanted has been detained. This was reported by Upl.uz.
In the Tashkent region, traffic safety inspectors identified a citizen born in 1992 moving aimlessly on the roads at night and stopped him. The individual's identity was checked, and it was revealed that he was hiding from the investigative authorities and had been put on the wanted list.
A criminal case has been initiated against this individual under part 4 of article 168 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan — fraud, which may result in a penalty of up to 10 years of imprisonment. Necessary documents regarding this case have been formalized.
The wanted person was detained and taken to the regional internal affairs department. The investigation process against him will soon resume.
