In the Yunusabad district of Tashkent city, two boys and one girl, a total of three minors, were arrested for promoting internet stores selling narcotics and psychotropic substances. This was reported by Upl.uz.
The city’s Internal Affairs Department reported this. The children were identified while drawing graffiti on the walls of buildings with the addresses of drug stores.
As a result of the investigations, it was revealed that the girl had seen such an offer on the internet and was able to access it through a link. This link was found from similar graffiti on the street.
Preventive conversations were held with the minors and their parents. Administrative proceedings were initiated against the parents under Article 47 of the Administrative Responsibility Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan — "Failure to fulfill obligations for the upbringing and education of children."
This case once again highlights the importance of parental responsibility in education. The internal affairs authorities continue to strengthen preventive measures to prevent such cases.
