In the Fergana region, Internal Affairs Department officer, junior sergeant Sherzod Odilov showed bravery by saving the life of a girl who was drowning. This was reported by Upl.uz.
The incident occurred on August 6 at around 1:00 PM in the Zodiyon village area of the Rishton district. This was announced by the press service of the Fergana region Internal Affairs Department.
Seeing a person unable to get out of the water of the Great Fergana Canal, Sherzod Odilov immediately rushed to help. He pulled the girl out of the water and provided her with first aid.
Thanks to his quick and courageous actions, a serious disaster was averted. It was later determined that the victim was a woman born in 2004 who had fallen into the canal due to negligence.
She is currently under the supervision of doctors at the district medical institution and is not in danger of life. This incident serves as an example of bravery and responsibility for colleagues and citizens.
