A special operational event was conducted in cooperation with the staff of the Department under the Prosecutor General's Office and the internal affairs agencies in Almalyk city. During the event, an employee of "S.S." LLC, engaged in the sale of tobacco products, was detained.
He was caught while illegally selling 665 boxes of foreign tobacco products. There were no documents related to these products.
He earned a total of 43 million soums from the sales. A criminal case has been initiated under the article of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan regarding the "Illegal circulation or production of ethanol, alcohol, and tobacco products."
Currently, investigative actions are ongoing.
