The press service of the Navbahor district internal affairs department reported that members of a criminal group were apprehended. This was reported by Upl.uz.
Based on complaints about large-scale cattle thefts, internal affairs officers carried out operational-search activities. A total of 15 reports of stolen livestock were received from the Nurata, Navbahor, and Khatirchi districts.
The total damage is estimated at approximately 100 million soums. As a result of the investigation, it was determined that a 30-year-old individual residing in the Navbahor district organized the criminal group.
The group included three men born in 1981, 1995, and 2003. The criminals began their activities at the end of April 2024.
They first stole a cow from the "Mirzo Ulug'bek" neighborhood in the Navbahor district for 8 million soums. They continued their crimes with small breaks.
However, in June 2025, while loading another stolen cow from the Nurata district into a "Matiz" vehicle, they were stopped by a road patrol officer, and the criminal group was exposed. A criminal case was initiated under the article "Theft" of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan regarding this incident.
Currently, investigative actions are underway.
