The press service of Uzenergoinspektsiya reported the detection of illegal electricity consumption in Qashqadaryo region. This was reported by Upl.uz.
Employees of the Qashqadaryo regional department of Uzenergoinspektsiya, in cooperation with law enforcement agencies, conducted raids to identify illegal connections to the electricity supply. During this process, it was found that the family enterprise "Z.O.R." in Guzor district was consuming electricity illegally.
Inspection revealed that the enterprise's pump station was operating through an illegal connection bypassing the electricity meter. According to preliminary calculations, the amount of damage caused is 536 million soums.
Relevant documents have been prepared regarding this case and sent to the investigative authorities. Under Article 169, Part 4 (theft) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, those found guilty may face imprisonment for up to 15 years.
This measure is implemented within the framework of the law and aims to prevent illegal electricity consumption.
