
According to the press service of the Samarkand regional internal affairs department, another case of cultivating prohibited plants has been identified. This was reported by Upl.uz.
A special rapid operation was conducted in cooperation with internal affairs officers and representatives of the state security service. During the operation, the house of a 42-year-old woman living in Pastdargom district was searched.
During the search, it was found that the woman had cultivated 112 cannabis plants, recognized as a narcotic substance, on an area of 20 square meters in her yard. A criminal case has been initiated under the articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan concerning "Cultivation of prohibited crops" and "Illegal production, purchase, storage, and trafficking of narcotic substances."
Investigative actions are ongoing by the relevant authorities. This case demonstrates the strict enforcement of legal measures and the continuation of the fight against narcotic substances.
