The State Unitary Enterprise “Uzaeronavigation” center has announced the reason for the flight of a light motorized airplane flying over the city of Tashkent today. This was reported by Upl.uz.
On August 21, a light motorized airplane circling over Tashkent for several hours caused concern among citizens on social networks. Many users expressed their opinions about flights being carried out without reason over the densely populated city.
However, the “Uzaeronavigation” center emphasized that this airplane is a modern mobile laboratory. It is flying to conduct a planned inspection of the navigation and landing systems over the capital’s airport.
During the inspection process, the airplane performs various maneuvers near the airport and exchanges data with the relevant systems. Additionally, the center reported that such system inspections are conducted twice a year.
These activities are carried out to ensure air traffic safety and to monitor the full operation of airport systems. Therefore, it is necessary to emphasize that citizens have no reason to worry and that such flights are regularly planned.
