The Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations of the Republic of Uzbekistan has officially announced the start dates for the 2025/2026 academic year. This was reported by Upl.uz.
The new academic year will begin in two stages for higher education institutions and academic lyceums. The first stage starts on September 3 and is intended for first-year students and all academic lyceum students.
The second stage begins on September 8 and is organized for second-year and higher-year students. Additionally, a special “orientation week” will be held for first-year students at higher education institutions.
During this week, various events will be organized to introduce new students to the main aspects of the credit-module system and to assist them in adapting to the educational process. These measures aim to ensure the effective integration of new students into the learning process.
Higher education institutions and lyceums are preparing to start the academic year according to the established schedule.
