According to information obtained from the press service of the Emergency Situations Department of Fergana region, on August 25, 2023, at around 11:40, a road traffic accident occurred on Islam Karimov Street in the city of Fergana. This was reported by Upl.uz.
While moving, a vehicle of the model “Tracker” caught fire. Since the fire started inside the cabin, the driver lost control of the vehicle and went off the road into a green area.
Emergency service personnel arrived at the scene within three minutes and extinguished the fire within one minute. By 11:45, the vehicle was completely extinguished.
As a result of the fire, the driver was hospitalized with burns covering 20 percent of his body. The causes of the fire are currently being investigated.
