How is the period of child care leave determined when calculating work experience? Upl.uz reported on this.
A detailed answer to this question was provided by the Pension Fund of the Republic of Uzbekistan. It is known that the period of child care leave granted until the child reaches three years of age is added to the total work experience.
However, the total duration of this period should not exceed six years. This limitation is important when calculating work experience.
How does this affect practice? For example, if a woman with 30 years of work experience has taken a total of eight years of leave to care for her three children, her work experience will be considered as 28 years when calculating her pension.
That is, eight years are subtracted from 30 years, and six years are added to them. Also, the period of child care leave, including paid leave, is not included in the special work experience that grants the right to receive a pension at a privileged age.
These rules serve to calculate work experience accurately and fairly.
