Starting from September 1, 2025, the salaries of heads of educational institutions in Uzbekistan will be increased. This was reported by Upl.uz.
This decision is being implemented based on a decree adopted in March 2025. Specifically, from the autumn months, school principals' salaries will increase by 20%, and their deputies' salaries will increase by 15%.
Additionally, from January 1, 2026, bonuses based on KPIs will be introduced for the leaders. For principals, this bonus will amount to 20%, and for their deputies, 10%.
Furthermore, the salaries of kindergarten directors will also be increased. These measures are aimed at improving the financial situation of leaders in the education sector and enhancing their work efficiency.
In Uzbekistan, efforts to create additional incentives for leaders continue with the goal of improving the quality of education.
