In the first seven months of 2025, more than 2.9 million foreign women visited Uzbekistan. This was reported by Upl.uz.
These data were provided by the State Statistics Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan. According to it, this figure accounts for 45.5 percent of the total number of tourists.
Compared to the same period last year, the number of women increased by 31.9 percent, that is, by 696.7 thousand. The distribution of women by countries is as follows: the number of visitors from Kyrgyzstan was 959.1 thousand, accounting for 33.3 percent.
The number of visitors from Kazakhstan was 781.7 thousand, or 27.2 percent. Visitors from Tajikistan amounted to 595.5 thousand, representing 20.7 percent.
The number of women from Russia was 246 thousand, which is 8.5 percent. Visitors from other countries totaled 295.3 thousand, or 10.3 percent.
These data indicate growth in Uzbekistan's tourism sector and an increase in the number of female foreign tourists.
