
Cases of illegal use of electricity have been identified in Samarkand region, and this was reported by the Press Service of the Department under the Prosecutor General's Office. This was reported by Upl.uz.
Preliminary inspections were conducted by employees of the Department under the Prosecutor General's Office in Tayloq district regarding the activities of the “K.A.” farm. During the inspection, it was found that the farm manager voluntarily connected water pumps to the electrical network, causing a total damage of 267 million soums to the state.
Additionally, in Jomboy district, the head of the limited liability company “S.G.” illegally connected the store building to the electrical network and used electricity for commercial purposes, causing damage worth 134.1 million soums. In Urgut district, a citizen illegally connected a water pump to the electrical network, causing damage worth 127.4 million soums to the energy supply organization.
Criminal cases have been initiated under the “Theft” article of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan regarding all these incidents. Such cases demonstrate that serious measures are being taken to combat illegal use of electricity and to ensure the rule of law.
