Starting from September 1, 2025, changes have been introduced on three bus routes in the city of Tashkent. This was reported by Upl.uz.
These changes were implemented by the city transport main department and the road-transport infrastructure development department with the aim of improving road traffic safety and enhancing passenger transportation efficiency. Buses on route 15 will now bypass the "Vodiy" parking lot and the road under the Kuylyuk bridge when traveling from the Kuylyuk-1 district to the "Dustlik" metro station.
An additional road section has been added on this route, leading directly to the bridge road. Route 28, on the other hand, will pass through Shohimardon, Ohangaron road, Shohsanam, and Katta Yangiyobod streets when traveling from the Medical Academy to the Yangiyobod district.
At the same time, it was emphasized that traffic on Katta Yangiyobod street will be allowed only in one direction. Buses on route 61 will operate two-way traffic on Izzat street, and entry to Besharik, Aviasozlar, and Xosiyat streets has been canceled.
According to the department, these changes were introduced to ensure passenger safety and to organize bus routes more optimally. The changes will contribute to improving traffic order and effectively managing the city transport system.
