According to the press service of the Navoi Regional Department of Internal Affairs, a comment was made regarding the video circulating on social networks. This was reported by Upl.uz.
On August 22, at approximately 02:00, a man born in 1994 and a resident of the Karbomin district entered a restaurant in the "Ziyokor" neighborhood of Navoi city to dine. To settle the bill, he went to a car belonging to his friend, born in 1995 and a two-time Paralympic Games discus throw champion, which had the inscription "President's Gift," intending to bring money.
At that moment, an employee born in 2004 working at the restaurant got into a verbal argument with him. Under the influence of alcohol, the man physically assaulted the employee, causing bodily injury.
The car owner intervened in time, calmed his friend down, and helped the injured person. A criminal case was initiated under Part 1 of the "Hooliganism" article of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan regarding this incident.
The man may face up to three years of imprisonment.
