New types of traffic lights equipped with modern pedestrian buttons will be installed on the renovated section of Shota Rustaveli Street in Tashkent city. This was reported by Upl.uz.
The image related to this news was taken from the Telegram group "Bez dna". The new traffic lights resemble the system used in Turkey and are designed to ensure safety and convenience for city residents.
The buttons on the traffic lights are equipped with Braille inscriptions and raised symbols, as well as voice message functions. Such traffic lights and buttons in Turkey are considered an important part of the "smart city" program.
There, adaptive traffic lights based on artificial intelligence technologies, a "green wave" system on highways, smart parking management, and traffic flow monitoring systems have been implemented. In Tashkent city, it is expected that digital transformation processes will begin by applying artificial intelligence and modern management technologies in the field of road traffic.
This will contribute to the development of the city's infrastructure and the improvement of road traffic safety.
