According to the press service of the Samarkand Regional Emergency Situations Department, on September 3, 2023, at approximately 13:30, a report was received at the "112" single call center about a fire that broke out in a refrigerated warehouse intended for storing fruits and vegetables. This was reported by Upl.uz.
The incident occurred in the "Dashtobod" neighborhood of Samarkand district. Five fire and rescue units quickly arrived at the scene and extinguished the fire within four minutes.
No one was injured as a result of the fire. Currently, initial investigation actions are being carried out to determine the causes of the fire and the amount of material damage.
All necessary measures are being taken regarding this incident, and the safety of the population is being ensured.
