On August 25 at approximately 23:30, two citizens visited a public catering establishment belonging to the “Dostlar ishonch hamkor” limited liability company located in the “Dostlik” neighborhood of Shahrixon district in Andijan region. These individuals consumed alcoholic beverages, refused to settle the bill with the establishment’s manager, and a conflict arose.
After the dispute, they insulted each other with various words, and the argument escalated into a fight. During this fight, the participants inflicted bodily injuries on each other.
Regarding this incident, a criminal case was initiated under Part 1 of the Article “Intentional minor bodily harm” of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan. According to this article, the guilty person may face imprisonment for up to one year.
Currently, a forensic medical examination has been appointed to determine the severity of the participants’ injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
