On September 4, 2024, at approximately 11:30 AM, a 2015 model "Damas" car caught fire in the "Nosh" neighborhood citizens' assembly area in Jomboy district of Samarkand region. At 11:48 AM, the fire-rescue brigade arrived at the scene and began extinguishing the fire.
By 12:05 PM, the fire was completely extinguished. No one was injured as a result of the fire.
Currently, efforts are underway to determine the causes of the fire and assess the amount of material damage. The Emergency Situations Department of Samarkand region advises all drivers to pay close attention to the technical condition of their vehicles.
