Uzbekistan has improved its position in the international passport rankings. This was reported by Upl.uz.
In the ranking compiled by the consulting company Henley & Partners, the country moved up from 74th to 72nd place, sharing this position with Mozambique. Currently, Uzbek citizens can travel to 62 countries without a visa or with the possibility of obtaining a visa upon arrival.
Singapore holds the first place in the ranking of the strongest passports. Singaporean citizens have visa-free access to 193 countries.
At the bottom of the ranking is Afghanistan, whose passport holders have visa-free access to only 25 countries. The positive change in the ranking reflects the increased international prestige of Uzbekistan and the government's efforts to strengthen diplomatic relations and develop ties with other countries.
This means more freedom and fewer administrative barriers for the country's citizens when traveling abroad.
