Major personnel changes were announced at the video conference dedicated to reforms in preschool and general education conducted by the President. This was reported by Upl.uz.
All deputies of the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovations — First Deputy Shokhrukh Daliev and Deputies Otabek Makhkamov and Sarvarxon Buzrukhonov — were relieved of their positions. Additionally, Adkham Khudayqulov, Director of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education under the Presidential Administration, was dismissed due to his transition to another job.
Sharof Rajabboev, Director of the Innovation Development Agency under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations, was also dismissed based on a similar decision. Although positive changes are observed in preschool and general education, the President emphasized that leaders in higher and vocational education have not fully understood the essence of the ongoing reforms and have been unable to implement them effectively.
The head of state stated that from now on, ministers of preschool, general, and higher education, their deputies, as well as governors, will be obliged to adopt a new, systematic, and active working style.
