This year, it is planned to create an additional 182 thousand places in kindergartens across the country, of which 82 thousand places will be provided through the construction of new kindergarten buildings. This was reported by Upl.uz.
At a meeting chaired by the President, it was emphasized that many governors are not sufficiently considering how to organize the remaining places. In particular, a total of 255 rooms in need of repair are lying unused in 118 kindergartens.
In the regions, the construction and reconstruction of 8 kindergartens have been prolonged for 2-3 years. Specifically, in each of the districts of Chimboy, G‘allaorol, Qiziriq, and Boysun, not a single kindergarten has been repaired.
In the districts of Dehqonobod, Sariosiyo, Bostanliq, and Nurobod, none of the newly constructed kindergartens have yet been put into operation. The President set a strict deadline for governors to repair and equip all vacant rooms and to launch the 8 prolonged kindergarten buildings by November 1.
If the deadline is not met, appropriate measures will be taken. Thus, efforts to develop the kindergarten network and create a quality educational environment will be accelerated.
