It is reported that two criminals wanted internationally by Interpol were brought to Uzbekistan. In particular, a citizen who committed sexual violence in Poland and fled the country was extradited.
Additionally, within the framework of combating illegal migration, 39 Uzbek citizens were deported by the United States of America. Among them was a person wanted by Interpol for committing a large-scale fraud crime.
These cases were carried out as a result of close cooperation between Uzbekistan's law enforcement agencies and foreign countries, especially Poland and the USA. This cooperation increases the effectiveness of apprehending criminals wanted and bringing them to justice.
The detained individuals were received at Tashkent International Airport named after Islam Karimov and handed over to the relevant law enforcement agencies. Legal measures will now be taken against them.
