In the first seven months of 2025, 19.2 thousand tourists from the USA visited Uzbekistan. This was reported by Upl.uz.
These data were provided by the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Statistics. Compared to the same period last year, this figure increased by 3.3 thousand people or 20.6 percent.
The majority of American tourists – 15,468 people – came for travel purposes. Among other common reasons, business trips accounted for 1,832 people, and 1,544 guests visited their relatives.
Additionally, 254 students came to Uzbekistan for education, 81 people for commercial activities, and 11 for medical treatment. These numbers indicate the growth in the number of American tourists coming to the country and reflect the developing relations in tourism and other sectors.
