According to the press service of the Department under the Prosecutor General's Office, individuals involved in employment-related fraud and corruption have been apprehended. This was reported by Upl.uz.
In cooperation with the Karakalpakstan Regional Department of the Prosecutor General's Office, the National Security Service (SGB), and the Internal Affairs Department, a special operational event was conducted. During the operation, an employee of the Karakalpakstan branch of the Republic's Emergency Medical Assistance Scientific Center was detained.
He was caught while receiving 32 million soms from a citizen, having promised employment at this medical institution. Additionally, together with officers from the Internal Affairs Department in Kashkadarya region, an employee of the personnel department of the Qarshi district medical association was also detained.
She was caught while receiving 1000 US dollars, having promised employment at the Qarshi district central polyclinic in exchange for the money. She intended to use her high-ranking acquaintances to carry out her plans.
In both cases, criminal proceedings have been initiated and investigations are ongoing. Such incidents once again highlight the importance of combating corruption within government institutions.
The relevant authorities continue to take strict measures against such crimes.
