A report was received by law enforcement agencies from a citizen living in the Yangihayot district. Two unknown individuals attacked her, snatched her bag, and struck her in the face.
As a result, the woman fell and called for help, but the criminals disappeared from the scene. Following prompt actions, the suspects were apprehended within a short time.
Their actions were recorded by street surveillance cameras and a car dashcam. According to one of the detainees, the bag contained 300,000 soms and wireless earphones.
The criminal stated that he was in need of money and attacked the first person he encountered. A criminal case was initiated under Article 169, Part 2 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan regarding this incident.
The criminals may face imprisonment from 3 to 5 years. A preventive measure of detention was chosen for them.
