Videos showing children left unsupervised at a kindergarten in the capital have spread on social media. This was reported by Upl.uz.
The “Tashkent Land” Telegram channel reported on this incident. The video shows the kindergarten gate being open, cars parked nearby, but no security guard present.
There are four groups operating in the kindergarten, one of which includes children aged 4 to 7. Only a kitchen staff member was present at the scene, who stated that they did not know where the caregiver was.
The press service of the Tashkent city department of preschool and school education commented on this situation. The incident depicted in the video occurred at a state preschool educational institution in the Yangihayot district.
One of the citizens, Y. R., entered the institution's territory without permission, spoke with the children, and reported that they were left without the caregiver's supervision.
As a result of the investigation, it was found that Y. R.'s child A.
I. was being supervised by assistant caregiver S.
N. who arrived at work around 7:00 AM on July 4 and left the children unsupervised at approximately 7:30 AM.
The institution's administration announced that disciplinary action had been taken against S. N. for shortcomings in their work and for leaving the children unsupervised.
This incident serves as a reminder of the importance of safety and the responsibility of caregivers in preschool educational institutions.
