The head of the Road Traffic Safety Department in Fergana region, Akmal Akhmedov, has been dismissed from his position. This was reported by Upl.uz.
The reason for this was the illegal cancellation of 106 traffic rule violations recorded in the state number 40 081 SBA Malibu vehicle. Earlier, information had circulated on social media that this vehicle belonged to a company associated with Akhmedov's close relative.
The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs confirmed this information. Akmal Akhmedov was immediately dismissed from his position, and the work documents were handed over to law enforcement agencies for further investigation.
