The flight of the "YUTeyr" airline from St. Petersburg to Samarkand was delayed by half an hour. This was reported by Upl.uz.
This information was obtained from the airport's online schedule. One of the reasons for the delay was the temporary closure of the airspace over "Pulkovo" airport.
This closure was related to a drone threat. Flight UT 881 was scheduled to take off at 11:05 local time, but the departure time was moved to 11:35.
Boarding for the flight began at 10:55. The closure of the airspace occurred because the air defense forces intercepted three drone attacks over Leningrad region at night.
As a result of this incident, at least 11 flights were canceled, and more than 60 flights were delayed. Currently, the airport's operations have been restored and are functioning normally.
All services for passengers are fully provided, and information about flight delays is being regularly updated.
