At the beginning of 2025, the number of South Korean tourists increased

From January to April 2025, the Republic of Uzbekistan received 10,800 South Korean citizens for tourism purposes. This was reported by Upl.uz.

This information comes from the data of the State Statistics Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Compared to the same period last year, the number of tourists from South Korea increased by 152 or 1.4 percent.

During the period from January to April 2025, the travel purposes of South Korean citizens visiting Uzbekistan were distributed as follows: 7,508 for tourism, 1,634 for visiting relatives, 1,382 for business trips, and 294 for education. These figures indicate the growth rates in Uzbekistan's tourism and international relations sectors and demonstrate the steady increase in the number of foreign tourists arriving in the country.
