
The "Samarkand Pilaf" festival will be held in various locations in Samarkand city from August 1 to 3. This was reported by Upl.uz.
This information was shared by the "Sputnik Uzbekistan" news agency, citing the head of the regional Tourism Department, Jurabek Suyunov. More than 200 chefs will participate in the festival program, preparing over 20 different types of pilaf.
Additionally, cooking master classes, demonstrations of national dishes from various countries, and exhibitions of handicrafts and Eastern sweets will also be organized. Cultural and entertainment events are also planned.
The main event of the festival will be the preparation of 7 tons of Samarkand pilaf in the "Eternal City" park. It is worth noting that previously a beer festival was held in Tashkent, and a flower festival in Namangan lasted for another two weeks.
