The State Statistics Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan has published information about tourists from Germany. This was reported by Upl.uz.
According to the data provided by the committee, from January to April of this year, a total of 8,700 citizens from Germany visited Uzbekistan. This figure has increased by 1,100 or 14.5 percent compared to the same period last year.
The purposes of German citizens visiting Uzbekistan are distributed as follows: 7,178 for tourism, 980 for visiting relatives, 467 for business trips, 48 for engaging in entrepreneurial activities, and 17 for educational purposes. This data indicates the growing flow of foreign tourists coming to our country and is of significant importance in the development of tourism and other sectors.
