According to the Tashkent city Emergency Situations Department, the market is temporarily closed based on a decision made by the Inter-District Economic Court of Tashkent city on June 13, 2025. According to the decision, the activities of the trading areas and buildings belonging to "OZIQ-OVQAT STANDART KARTON" LLC were suspended until the violations of fire safety regulations and other legal violations are fully eliminated.
The enforcement of the court decision began on June 27, 2025, and the closure of the facility was carried out by the employees of the Tashkent city Emergency Situations Department. Therefore, the information about the power supply being cut off at the market is not true.
The temporary suspension of the market's activities is legally justified, and operations will resume once safety measures are fully implemented.
