Electronic identification has been introduced for domestic flights

Starting from July 1, domestic flights in Uzbekistan have become much more convenient for passengers. This was reported by Upl.uz.

Now, it is not necessary to present a physical passport or ID card when checking in for a flight. The government has implemented an electronic identification document system.

Before checking in at the airport, it is necessary to access the my.gov.uz website or mobile application, as well as the "Social Card" application, and go to the personal cabinet. The personal information page can be opened, and the electronic identification document can be presented to the registration staff.

However, screenshots, photos, and paper copies are not accepted during registration. This system aims to provide convenience for passengers and speed up processes at the airport.

Additionally, this innovation helps make travel safer and more efficient. It is important for each passenger to bring their electronic identifier ready.
