The procedure for preparing conscripts in military-technical specialties and their selection for service in the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan has been approved by the resolution No. 413 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated July 7, 2025. This was reported by Upl.uz.
The press service of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan announced this. According to the document, each conscript has the right to participate in the selection only once a year.
The selection process begins on August 10 of the year preceding the year of conscription and continues until February 10 of the year of conscription. During the interview, the following information is determined about the conscript: interest and desire for military service, violations, accountability and criminal record, health status, level of education, family situation, and other important aspects.
In addition to the interview, the level of physical fitness is also assessed. Conscripts are required to successfully complete the following physical tests: pull-ups on a bar, running 100 meters, and running 3000 meters.
Based on the results of the selection, a conclusion is made regarding the recommendation or non-recommendation of the conscript for military service
