According to the press service of the Namangan regional internal affairs department, a person suspected of committing a crime and wanted has been detained. This was reported by Upl.uz.
The individual, who was wanted by the internal affairs department of the Turakurgan district, was born in 1976 and resides in the "Katagon" neighborhood. He is suspected of committing fraud.
A criminal case has been initiated against him under Article 168, Part 3 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan. As a result of operational-search activities, the suspect was identified and detained in the Mirzo Ulugbek district of Tashkent city.
He is currently being brought to the Namangan region and has been placed in the temporary detention facility of the internal affairs department of the Mingbulak district. He may face a sentence of up to 8 years of imprisonment.
