This news was published in large groups on Facebook. The victim recounted the incident of violence herself.
According to the girl, a taxi was ordered through a door-to-door service to her workplace. The driver refused to go up to the office and demanded that the customer come outside.
When one of the office staff went outside, the driver yelled at her. The girl did not know that the order had not been paid for and had no money on her.
The victim asked the driver to come out to the office to collect the money, but he grabbed her by the hand and shook her, then attempted to break her arms and snatched the package away. The victim announced that she had written a complaint regarding the incident.
The press service of Yandex.Taxi provided a comment to UPL reporters regarding this situation. They emphasized that they were aware of the situation and that aggressive behavior is unacceptable.
Currently, this driver has been suspended from orders. An internal investigation is underway, and they stated that they are ready to assist law enforcement agencies and provide necessary information based on an official inquiry.
