According to the press service of the Ministry of Energy, entrepreneurs who illegally used natural gas have been exposed. This was reported by Upl.uz.
Law enforcement agencies conducted inspections at enterprises in the Samarkand region. In particular, the activities of a bathhouse located in the "Urtacharkhin" neighborhood of the Pastdarg‘om district were checked.
The owner of this bathhouse illegally connected all equipment and devices to the gas network, bypassing the gas consumption meter. As a result, the gas supply organization suffered a total loss of 2.89 billion soums.
Additionally, an illegal connection to the gas network was also identified in a multi-apartment building in the "Sevali ota" neighborhood of Samarkand city, in front of the "A.M.S." limited liability company. In this case, the amount of damage amounted to 446 million soums.
In both cases, the relevant documents were formalized, and they were handed over to law enforcement agencies for initial investigative actions. These cases are being studied to ensure legal measures are taken.
