In 2024, various types of waste were disposed of in large volumes through special vehicles. This was reported by Upl.uz.
This is indicated in the data from the State Statistics Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan. During this period, the following waste was disposed of using special vehicles: 41.3 million cubic meters of solid household waste, 1.9 million cubic meters of liquid household waste, 1.6 million cubic meters of construction waste, 900 tons of snow, and 109.5 thousand tons of other waste.
Waste management is one of the important areas of Uzbekistan's communal economy. The large volume of waste being disposed of requires the continuous development of infrastructure, modernization of the vehicle fleet, and the introduction of new technologies for waste recycling and disposal.
Thus, effective waste management is crucial for preserving the ecological environment and ensuring quality living conditions for the population. State and public organizations are constantly focusing on this issue and working on implementing advanced practices.
