The additional payment is provided to individuals specified by law at a certain percentage of the basic calculation value of the pension each month. The right to receive this payment is strictly regulated by law.
The list of individuals who can claim additional payments is clearly defined and includes various categories of citizens in need of additional assistance from the state. The main categories eligible for additional pension payments include: Group I war veterans – 150 percent of the basic pension amount; Group II war veterans – 125 percent; Group I visually impaired individuals – 100 percent; Group I disabled individuals – 75 percent; solitary living Group II disabled individuals – 75 percent; war participants and individuals equated to them – 50 percent; those who served in the rear during the Great Patriotic War – 30 percent; relatives of military and internal affairs personnel who died while performing their duties – 30 percent; individuals with special services to the Republic of Uzbekistan – from 100 to 150 percent, with the payment procedure determined by the Cabinet of Ministers; artists with preferential pensions regardless of age – 75 percent; artists from theater-concert organizations, teachers, and creative workers in the field of musical arts – 50 percent.
These additional payments serve to ensure social protection and improve the material conditions of certain groups of citizens. These payments can be utilized in accordance with the conditions established by law.
