This is confirmed by the data from the State Statistics Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan. 72.2 percent of total construction work, that is, 66.1 trillion soums, was directed towards new construction, reconstruction, expansion, and technical re-equipment.
The volume of new construction work has been steadily increasing in recent years. In 2022, this figure was 32.6 trillion soums, in 2023 it was 37.1 trillion soums, and in 2024 it reached 57.9 trillion soums.
In the first five months of 2025, the volume of new construction work reached 66.1 trillion soums. This data indicates the increasing activity and investments in the construction sector and contributes to the stable growth of the country's economy.
