The head of the Labor Market Research Institute under the Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Botir Alimuhamedov, indicated that the main reason for labor migration is the desire of Uzbek citizens to earn income to solve family problems. This was reported by Upl.uz.
He expressed his views during a recent roundtable discussion. According to the data, the reasons for Uzbek citizens choosing the Russian Federation for temporary labor migration are not solely economic.
The specialist emphasized that the ability to quickly adapt to living and working conditions in Russia and the ease of learning the Russian language are important factors.
