From January to May 2025, the total volume of services provided in the education sector amounted to 14.7 trillion soums. This was reported by Upl.uz.
This figure accounts for 4 percent of all market services provided in the country during the same period. This information was provided by the State Statistics Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Compared to the corresponding period in 2024, the volume of educational services increased by 8.9 percent. This growth indicates an increased demand for education, as well as the active development of educational institutions and programs.
When analyzing the composition of educational services, the main share of the total volume corresponds to higher education. In the period from January to May 2025, the share of higher education constituted 49.2 percent.
