Singer Dilfuza Ismoilova became a victim of fraud
Famous singer Dilfuza Ismoilova was deprived of a large sum of money. According to the regional information program, she fell victim to a fraud involving 80 thousand US dollars. Currently, this case is being reviewed in the Uchtepa district court. How did the fraudster gain trust? According to the details of the case, the defendant initially tried to gain the singer's trust by agreeing with her "words." Later, he introduced himself as an entrepreneur engaged in the trade of citrus fruits. He claimed that each truckload of imported citrus fruits could bring in a profit of 25-30 thousand dollars. This idea seemed interesting to Dilfuza Ismoilova, and she thought, "I also wanted to start a business, this is a good plan, I will invest." They agreed to share the profits, but it turned out to be just a deceptive scheme. The court process and the fraudster's previous crimes Currently, this case is being reviewed in the Uchtepa district court for criminal cases. The defendant has previously been convicted under Article 168 of the Criminal Code (fraud). He may have caused material damage not only to Dilfuza Ismoilova but also to other citizens. This situation once again highlights the importance of caution and adherence to legal documents in entrepreneurship or investment. The court process is ongoing, and the fraudster will answer to the law.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs has submitted a draft law on "Amendments and Additions to the Code of Administrative Responsibility of the Republic of Uzbekistan" for public discussion. The draft law proposes to add Article 126-1 to the Code of Administrative Responsibility. According to it, drivers who violate the requirements specified in the relevant permit for changing (tinting) the windows may be fined in the amount of 1 times the basic calculation amount (375,000 soums) for using vehicles. Currently, using vehicles with tinted and changed (darkened) windows without the relevant permit results in a fine of 25 times the basic calculation amount (9,375,000 soums). The discussion of the draft law will continue until April 11. It should be noted that in July 2024, the Strategic Reform Agency called for checking the proportionality of the amount of administrative fines to the committed offenses. The agency specifically stated that the fine amount for tinting car windows without permission should be reconsidered.

Facts about psychologists: 14 unexpected answers (video)
Facts about psychologists: 14 unexpected answers (video)
March 24 is recognized as World Depression Awareness Day. It is a great opportunity to talk about mental health and to dispel the myths that still exist about psychology. Some still believe that only "seriously ill" individuals seek help from psychologists, while others fear being "sent to a mental hospital" after a consultation. But is this really the case? In the Sputnik Uzbekistan segment, family and crisis psychologist Sofia Hasanova answers the most common questions about psychology, fear, therapy, and its costs. “Recently, it is encouraging to see a positive trend in the attitude towards psychology and psychiatry in Uzbekistan. People are increasingly turning to specialists instead of holding their problems inside for years,” says the expert. Among the most common psychological issues, she highlights anxiety and stress that arise in the pursuit of success. “Social networks create the illusion that everyone around is living better, more successfully, and wealthier... This makes people very anxious. However, before chasing after others' goals, it is important to ask yourself: what do I want? What truly makes me happy?” she says. Is it true that psychologists themselves are prone to stress? Can they diagnose? When should one consult a specialist and how can it change your life? You can find answers to these and other questions in the Sputnik Uzbekistan video.

The debtor father has consistently failed to pay alimony on time and has generally been evading state enforcement officers with excuses. Enforcement actions were initiated by the bureau staff, ensuring the debtor father's appearance at the department. The debtor father's accumulated alimony debt amounted to 9,561.1 thousand soums, and an administrative protocol was formalized against the debtor and sent to court. During the court proceedings, the debtor father, fearing 15 days of administrative detention, immediately paid the alimony. After that, in order to avoid paying alimony, the debtor father took one of his children from his ex-wife and did not return the child to her for 7 months, using various excuses, and attempted to instill negative thoughts about the mother in the child. Subsequently, the helpless mother applied to the civil court to legally regain her child..... In the Yashnobod district department of the Bureau of Mandatory Enforcement, based on the enforcement order of the Mirobod inter-district civil court, it was determined that the debtor X.F. should hand over the child born on October 20, 2017, to the care of the mother. This enforcement case was received by the department on February 27, 2025, and the debtor father was given a 15-day voluntary period, with the legal consequences fully explained. The father, who did not draw the appropriate conclusion from the legal explanation provided, did not wish to voluntarily hand over the child to his ex-wife. Subsequently, enforcement actions were initiated, and the minor child was handed over to the mother's care, thus concluding this enforcement case.

Why do we love fatty foods?
Why do we love fatty foods?
When consuming fatty and calorie-dense foods, the brain releases dopamine into the blood. This is an important hormone for pleasure. To repeat the joy, people try to buy fatty foods again and again. Additionally, the love for fatty foods is also related to the evolution of humanity. French fries, meat soup, ice cream, pancakes, and pastries have been part of many people's menus since childhood. What is the reason for this, why do people love fatty foods more? This question was answered by endocrinologist and nutritionist Darya Khaykina in an interview with "Gazeta.ru". “Remember your favorite dish. It might be a burger with dripping fat or a pizza that tickles the nose with its aroma, or it could be something else. How do you feel right now? Has your mood lifted, do you feel comfort and lightness inside? The thing is, when you consume fatty and calorie-dense food, your brain releases dopamine into the blood – this is the neuromediator responsible for pleasure. Dopamine creates that sensation of taste and encourages us to repeat that action again and again. This is how the addiction to fats forms,” Khaykina explained. According to her, this process is related to evolution. Our ancestors lived in harsh conditions, so they needed a lot of energy. Energy is obtained from calories. Thus, our ancestors preferred fatty and calorie-dense products. “The evolution that has formed over thousands of years has also passed on to us. The idea of 'searching for fatty food' has been ingrained in our brains. When we see a fatty product, the brain sends a signal to the whole organism that everything is in place, and enough calories have been found to sustain life,” the specialist explained. She also states, based on scientific research, that the human brain remembers not only the taste of fatty foods but also their caloric content. When a person consumes highly caloric food, the brain creates a strong connection between the taste of that food and its energy. This becomes a habit and influences food choices over time. “Besides the strong stimulation related to dopamine, fats are a significant factor that enhances flavor. Fat activates the receptors on the tongue and in the mouth, making the taste even more delicious. As a result, we derive much more pleasure from food. Additionally, cultural factors also play an important role. Slavic cuisine has historically been rich in fatty foods like cream, smoked fat (salo), and butter. These flavors are formed from childhood and influence our eating habits throughout our lives,” the nutritionist added. When discussing how to control the craving for fatty foods, the doctor reminded that completely eliminating fats is incorrect. Because they are necessary for the normal functioning of the body, including hormone synthesis and brain health. “Focus on healthy fats: fish, nuts, avocado, olive oil. Reduce the intake of trans fats and saturated fats (fast food, store-bought pastries). Try to combine fats with proteins and fibers – this will reduce appetite and prevent overeating,” she said.
