Atletico club midfielder Toma Lemar will continue his career at Girona, Spain. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

The Girona press service officially announced that the French player has joined the club on loan. Lemar will play in Girona until the summer of 2026.

Previously, some media outlets reported that the new club would only pay half of Lemar's salary. Toma Lemar became an Atletico player in 2018.

He joined the Madrid club from Monaco. The 29-year-old midfielder has played a total of 186 games for Atletico, scoring 10 goals and providing 19 assists.

According to Transfermarkt, Lemar's market value is 5 million euros. Thus, the player will continue his career in the Spanish league.

His new team, Girona, is showing good results in the 2023/2024 season. Experts emphasize that Lemar's experience will be beneficial for the club.
