Nenad Sakich, a member of the coaching staff of the Spartak team, attended the press conference instead of Dejan Stankovich after the draw (2:2) with Zenit. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
Sakich expressed his opinion about the unsatisfactory team results at the beginning of the season. Currently, Spartak is in 11th place in the Premier League standings and has accumulated five points after five rounds.
He emphasized that he expected better results from the team. In football, there can be different periods, sometimes successful, sometimes difficult times come.
Sakich hopes that the bad period will end soon and that we will see the team playing as strongly as last season. In the next round, Spartak will face Rubin.
The match will take place on Saturday, August 23, in Kazan and will start at 14:00 Moscow time.
