Milonov: Spending money on Zenit legionnaires is wrong

Russian State Duma deputy Vitaliy Milonov commented on the game of the “Zenit” team that took place on Saturday. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

In the fifth round of the Premier League, the Petersburg team drew 2:2 against “Spartak”. According to Milonov, it is necessary to reduce the number of legionnaires in the “blue-white-sky blue” squad.

According to him, problems arise because of the legionnaires and they should be abandoned. Why spend a lot of money on such players if they still cannot play well?

These funds could be spent on building several stadiums for young and future “Zenit” players and nurturing champions. These views were presented by the “RB Sport” publication.

Currently, “Zenit” is in eighth place in the Russian championship standings. The team led by Sergey Semak has collected six points in five games, including one win, three draws, and one loss.

“Zenit” is seven points behind the first-placed “Lokomotiv”. In the next round, “Zenit” will play at home against the “Dinamo” team from Makhachkala city.
