He was one of the most important players of the "Benfica" team, with which he won the European Champions Cup in the 1960-61 and 1961-62 seasons. He also participated in five final matches played with "Benfica".
Krush made his debut for "Benfica" at the age of 20 and played a total of 445 matches in all competitions, scoring one goal. As a member of the Portuguese national team, he won bronze medals at the 1966 World Cup.
