The president of the Russian Tennis Federation, Shamil Tarpishchev, analyzed the results of the fifth round match of the RPL between Moscow's Spartak and Zenit teams. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The game held in the capital ended with a score of 2:2. Markinyos and Zhedson Fernandes scored for the hosts, while the guests responded with goals from Mateo Cassierra and Aleksandr Sobolev.
According to Tarpishchev, Zenit should be satisfied with this draw, but the result is not satisfactory for Spartak. He emphasized that it was one of the best games of the season.
Especially, the hosts dominated on the field, which created a regrettable situation for Spartak. Neither team was able to convert their penalty kicks during the match.
After an unsuccessful attempt, Cassierra scored his goal, but Ezequiel Barco's two touches of the ball were judged as fouls. Additionally, after Zenit's Douglas Costa was sent off, the team continued the game with ten players.
These incidents caused the match to be complex and exciting. Overall, the encounter offered many interesting moments to the spectators.
